Exercise during pregnancy

Yoga and a healthy lifestyle, greatly helped me in my pregnancy and helps me even thereafter. I was able to keep myself fit during pregnancy because i had all the time in the world. I was focussed, i had left my job and was focussing on my mind and body. However, after delivery, my world turned upside down. There was no schedule or routine. My entire day passed according to my baby. I had to keep myself free at all times to take care of my baby. But slowly i was able to get back my exercise routine.

After delivery my entire body used to remain achy and broken all the time because of less sleep, bent posture for breast feeding and wrong sleeping postures. I tried massages and hot water baths and different oils, pain killers and various other things. But trust me, the only thing which can help is exercise. That is the only permanent thing which can keep us mothers, fit and ready for our baby. Because a tired body leads to a tired mind which ultimately effects our behaviour towards our baby.

So, its actually true. A health mind and body, a healthy life!
